If you love high fashion but don't regularly spend $3,000 on a single dress, you must be just as excited as we are about the Lanvin for H&M collection that's set to drop this Saturday, Nov. 20, at stores nationwide. Alber Elbaz, the creative director for Lanvin, crafted a great collection for men and women at gotta-have-it prices. The ladies' looks include dresses, jackets, and accessories in festive gem-tone colors like fuchsia, yellow, and teal. H&M is well-known for offering affordable collaboration lines from famous designers — Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney previously designed collections — but the pieces are known to sell out fast, so get there early. To pass time before Saturday, check out our favorite looks from the Lanvin for H&M look book below.
SEE MY TOP 3 PICKS ...
1. T-SHIRTS AND FAUX FUR
We love how many colors, textures, and shapes are going on in this one outfit! That furry jacket is such a statement piece for winter, while the graphic tee is a closet staple that can be worn alone in the summer, or under blazers and cardigans in the cooler months. Plus, we like how the model dresses it up by layering a bunch of necklaces over it — great styling idea.
2. MELLOW YELLOW
This one-shoulder ruffle dress is the perfect party dress, and the yellow color just pops. Take a cue from this model and rock the frock with fun, colorful earrings and layered bracelets
3. GO FOR A TUTU
This is our favorite image from the look book! As we've noted earlier, Rihanna and Katy Perry are just a couple stars who've brought the tutu look back, and we think this Lanvin for H&M dress is the prettiest and most elegant tutu we've seen yet. Plus, how stunning are those multicolor pumps?
